• Feelfit Paddle Round the Pier, 4 and 5 July 2009: This year?s Paddle Round The Pier, sponsored by Feelfit, is looking to raise in excess of £20,000 for this year?s charities - The RNLI, SurfAid International and local children?s charity, The Rockinghorse Appeal. Around 20,000 people are expected to head to the event across the weekend, which is held on 4 and 5 July on Hove Lawns and the nearby beach area. Dave Samuel, Paddle Director said: ?The event is free for visitors, but we are asking people to donate on entry or to the volunteers who will be walking around the event with collecting buckets.? There is a huge amount of activity taking place over the two days!
